On the morning of April 25th, the Heze Municipal Party Committee and Government organized a city wide science and technology award conference. At the meeting, the project "Key Technology Research and Industrialization of PAW-GTAW Composite Welding Strain Strengthening for Cryogenic Containers" developed by Shandong Zhongjie Special Equipment Co., Ltd. was awarded the "First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Heze City Science and Technology Award".

This project is jointly developed by Shandong Zhongjie Special Equipment Co., Ltd. and Professor Li Yajiang from Shandong University. The project focuses on the weak link of strain strengthening in the welding joints of cryogenic vessels, and conducts a correlation study on the mechanical properties and microstructure evolution of strain strengthening PAW-GTAW combined welding joints. The application of plasma arc welding (PAW) and tungsten inert gas welding (GTAW) combined welding technology in the manufacturing of cryogenic vessels has been achieved. Plasma arc welding technology ensures good penetration and formation of the back of the weld seam, and the tungsten inert gas welding cover surface ensures smooth and stable quality of the weld seam. The combination of two sets of equipment can be welded together in one go, greatly improving production efficiency and reaching the international advanced level of technical level.

Winning the first prize of the Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award this time is well deserved. In recent years, the company has attached great importance to technological innovation work, investing more than 5% of its annual sales revenue in research and development expenses for new products, new technology research and development, and technological upgrading and transformation. We have successively established the Shandong Enterprise Technology Center and the Heze Special Equipment Key Laboratory, equipped with more than 100 instruments and equipment such as CNC machine tools, X-ray flaw detectors, and digital ultrasonic flaw detectors. Our key product technologies, such as ultra-low temperature pressure vessel welding, biomass boiler emission reduction, and residual heat utilization, have been shortlisted for multiple provincial and municipal level science and technology projects, including the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology Innovation Project, the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission Key Project, and the Heze City Innovation and Excellence Project. We have obtained a total of 32 authorized utility model patents, 61 authorized invention patents, participated in drafting 2 national standards, and registered 15 trademarks.

With the support of technological innovation, the company has successively obtained more than 30 honors or qualifications such as Shandong Province Specialized, Refined, Unique and New Enterprise, Shandong Province Gazelle Enterprise, Shandong Province Manufacturing Single Champion Enterprise, National Specialized, Refined, Unique and New Small Giant Enterprise, Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, Municipal Industrial Design Center, Key Laboratory, and National Standard Drafting Unit.
